What is ZoomRank?

ZoomRank is a patent pending online service that checks the rank of your website by keyword on the major search engines. For as little as $7.95 a month, you can create multiple profiles with unique web address and keyword combinations. Initiate a rank anytime and ZoomRank automatically checks your profile and returns the page, position, overall rank, and any change from the previous search (Screenshot).

What are the requirements for running ZoomRank?

ZoomRank is 100% web based and can be accessed with any web browser. No software must be installed on your computer.

How much does ZoomRank cost?

ZoomRank has three different service packages:

• Site Owner -- 10 Profiles (unique URL/keyword combinations) - $7.95/month
• Webmaster -- 25 Profiles - $12.95/month
• Web Marketer -- 100 Profiles - $19.95/month

Each package comes with a daily email report with ranking results of all profiles.

What is a Profile?

A Profile in ZoomRank is a unique web address and keyword combination. For example, if you want to see where the site www.searchenginewatch.com ranks on Google, Yahoo, and MSN for the keywords "search engine statistics," you could create a Profile in ZoomRank called Search Engine Statistics with the Search Keywords search engine statistics and a Target URL of www.searenginewatch.com.

Once you've created your profile, you click the Check Rank button, and the rankings on Google, Yahoo, and MSN for that URL and keyword combination will be returned momentarily (Screenshot). You can check the rank of your profiles anytime on at ZoomRank.com. All active profiles will be automatically checked every day and results emailed to you (Screenshot).

What is a Tag?

Tags allow you to organize or "group" your profiles on the ZoomRank website. This is especially helpful if you have a large number of profiles. For example, if you have three different websites and you want to track several different search terms or keywords for each of them, you would create tags for each website, create your search profiles, and "tag" each one. From My Profiles, you would then click "Filter by tag," select the tag of choice, and only those profiles that are related to that website would come up. This is only one example. You can set up tags in any way that will help you organize your profiles. Or you don't have to use them at all.

I did a manual search on the Web and found my site in a different position than ZoomRank results.

The search engines constantly update their databases and therefore results. Your ranking position can change rapidly. Some of the search engines also provide localized results based on your IP address. Some searches and sites are impacted more than others. ZoomRank's servers are located in Dallas, Texas. Our results are standard for the US and typically do not vary much from other US locations. We will add locations in the future to provide more options for localized results.

Actively monitoring relative position and trends with ZoomRank is very valuable even if the absolute position is sometimes a little off. Given the complex and dynamic nature of the search engines, the only way to guarantee precise ranking results 100% of the time is searching by hand, which is time consuming and difficult to do consistently. ZoomRank makes it easy to actively monitor ALL your search engine rankings every day!
