We don’t like legalese, but wanted to mention some important things about working with us.
We haven’t missed a day of rankings in several years and accuracy is a top priority. Our number one objective is to return accurate data when you expect it. If you ever have any issues with reliability or accuracy, let us know right away, and we’ll troubleshoot and resolve them as quickly as possible.
Most of our clients are billed monthly in advance on a recurring automatic credit card payment. If this is you, you may cancel anytime and you won’t incur any further charges. We don’t give refunds for amounts already paid, which means you can continue using the service till a month after your last charge. For those of you on a postpay plan, you can also cancel anytime, and you will be responsible for all actual services we provide. We make special arrangements for high volume or other unique situations. In these cases, we’ll draw up an agreement that covers pricing, refunds, and other terms, and it will supersede everything else.
We have a REST API that provides access to most of our data and functionality. We only make this available to a limited number of clients and partners at this time. We prefer not to throttle or otherwise closely monitor and restrict usage of the API, but please understand that if your code is buggy or you’re sending a high volume of single or multithreaded requests, you could impact our ability to deliver our services to other clients, and we may need to shut down your API access entirely without warning. If that happens, we’ll reach out to you right away, work with you to remedy the problem, and restore your access as soon as possible. If you want to use the API, we may require a review of your integration code. Our objective is 100% up-time and access to the API.
